Fig Tree murals for Adam, 2024

Hand painted fig tree designs using Farrow & Ball and Little Green paints, to finish the interior decoration work I had also completed on house. I sanded back the banister rail to reveal the natural wood, and applied an Osmo oil/wax mix. Sanded, primed and painted the wood work, walls and radiators, of the staircase and front entrance to the house.

Place of Safety at The Maudsley Hospital, 2024

Wet Paint Walls were commissioned by Bethlem Gallery to create a mural for The Place of Safety at The Maudsley Hospital in Denmark Hill, London. We were asked to design and paint a mural for the psychiatric intensive care ward, depicting patients and staff engaging in relaxing activities. The team wanted a mural that was calming and soothing for their patients, with warm colours and natural elements. We felt privileged to work on the ward, alongside the amazing NHS staff and we received positive feedback from the patients who were admitted whilst we worked which was incredibly rewarding.

Flat Earth Pizza, 2023

Working with Daisy Allen under the pseudonym Wet Paint Walls. We used spray paint to decorate the shutters of Flat Earth Pizzas, a restaurant on Cambridge Heath Rd, London. They are a vegetarian pizza place and their ethos is on local, organic produce, so we chose a selection of the vegetables they use to make their award winning pizza toppings.

Thamesmead Now, 2023

Artist Daisy Allen and I proposed a mural for a festival hosted by Thamesmead Now. They are commissioning murals to bring vibrancy to the area of Thamesmead, South-East London, with its famous brutalist architecture. We were inspired by the wildlife of Southmere Lake, that surrounds the estate where we were painting, and brings tranquility and natural beauty to the local residents.

Commission for Lizzy, 2023

Lizzy wanted a Sicilian Lemon Tree to bring the Italian summer to her garden patio in Torquay, Devon, UK. We decided to arrange some additional plants around it to situate the tree with the terracotta pots already in her garden and create the illusion of depth and reality.

1REBEL, 2023

A commission by 1Rebel UK gyms to design and create a mural for their female changing rooms at their St Mary Axe site for PRIDE week. I wanted to create a mural that talked about femininity, and the beauty in its physical strength and the diversity of bodies. The vases and flowers are symbolic of nurturing our bodies so that what is within us can flourish and bloom.

Commission for Susan, 2023

Susan wanted a colourful, artistic mural of a garden scene to brighten up her inner city balcony. They had an antique mirror with a window on the wall, which she thought could be playful to have a scene as though looking into the window of another apartment, on a couple as they enjoy their breakfast.

Come Together, 2023

A mural for We Are Waterloo. Designed by Thomas K Shannon, Head Of Design at VAULT Creative Arts. Fabricated by myself and Ansis K. on Lower Marsh, Waterloo. A street on which I have worked as a painter for almost 10 years.

Kompan Mural, 2022

In collaboration with artist Daisy Allen, we designed and painted a colourful jungle scene in a children’s playground in Westminster, London. Commissioned by Kompan UK.

Share Your Voice, 2021

‘Share Your Voice’ was a collaboration between artist’s Alistair Leys and Daisy Allen commissioned by Invicta Primary School in Deptford, London, 2021. The project was centred around themes of youth activism and using your voice to make a change. They ran sessions with the children to co-design the mural. I joined them for the painting process.

Lewisham School of Muralism, 2020

I spent 6 months on a mural painting course hosted by ARTMONGERS, where I learned the toolkit for making murals. Techniques, painting skills, engaging with communities, co-designing, acquiring walls and funding and more! Here are some of the murals that I helped create on the course.
